pipi room

AND AT THE END THE HOLE BUILDING IS SINKING.

I am already 34
es mejor donde yo estoy.
I m better in my place.

Me pregunta: Who is taking care of your appearance? She is pacient but firm on her belives. I try to take pictures of my friends with her but she is here for me.

Elena Varela's healing freedom

"with a group of strong women trying to put ourselves in a safe place, having to catch planes,
get somewhere...somewhere trying to keep safe from rain and damp outside... but when the two strangers arrive everything is beautiful and fine." 31.07.09
And then I met Manuel Curilen who came to Geneva to denounce the pollution of the land and the water in the Mapuche comunities in the south of Chile by the salmon industries and the Chilean state.

taken for granted

Patience

I dreamed of a very beautiful man, a charismatic magician; neither blond, nor dark; thin, subtle. We were in my Father’s house. We were a group of young people, in this house full of alcoves and magical things, mysterious charms. The presence of my Father was there, in parts of the house that were being transformed, in a white bird- very small - very special. Presence 7: us guys, we were discovering things about ourselves, about the night, nature, and it was mainly that man who was guiding us. I was completely bewildered by him. To be near him filled me with energy. Suddenly he was touching my hair and he said that I smelled like a lioness, I wanted to get closer to him, to kiss him, to melt into him; then M. appeared (energy 7) and said to me that he could not be with me, because he belonged to her. I swore: how is it possible that his energy couldn’t be mine?! He is still there…
and then this is New York and I realise that I am dreaming and then I want to stay with him: there are lots of frogs reproducing. He starts to transform, he is a man that is all men, he is not himself anymore, he tells me to be patient, that I was born in a time when there was a lot of fruit and that I will continue in this stage of my life, which is not very interesting, or amusing, but that I must patient, and then he vanishes in a puff of smoke.

I dreamed that I was travelling in a boat, with a family-group of Cubans, people emigrating.
It was an excellent solution, I thought, because they could take the house with them.
I’m climbing into the boat; the boat advances and enters the water: a river, which becomes a lake in the south of Chile, I’m staring out from the side of the boat, looking as if I’m a figurehead. I’m looking at the lake water.
It surprises me that the lake is not that deep and it worries me that the boat could run aground.
As it moves, the boat has a vertiginous speed. It knows where it is going. It has a destiny. Me, boat figurehead, I have to be courageous, in order to see everything that is coming.

I dreamed that I was going to Cuba for the weekend. I was going on a Friday and coming back on a Monday. I was happy to be able to live my Father’s dream. Even though it felt a bit of a deception to know that I was going for such a short time. It wasn’t easy. Inside the boat where we were living A., B. and C. had joined us; but were deeply indifferent, as if nothing was good enough for them. I was trying to please them, but it was pointless.
I’m feeling impotent. House with red walls. With a very beautiful part that has a big window, which allows us to see where important things are happening outside. 16.06.04.

I can see all of that

I am asking myself when will I receive most of the things that belonged to my grandparents’ world. Impeccable parquet floors. If we could see through this wall…
She (my grandmother) is giving me small things, things that I can carry. I never imagined that I might have so much in my life, but I want everything now.
My Mother is well looked after.
It is a city with old architecture, grey-blue, which is getting older, but was ordered, opulent in the past.
Very strong and heavy, but then somewhere there was an earthquake. There are lots of people, lots of young people, is it Brazil? Is it a poor country? Is it Mexico? The university? Is it Chile? I can see all this.

Mexico D. F., 1996

And then in 2008 I went to a refugee home in Switzerland and when a woman from Georgia saw that drawing she accepted me to do her portrait. Yesterday I found out, that because people like her fail to be recognized as refugees, they get a legal status that is less than the rest of us. She doesn't have the right to have a job, rent a room or an apartment, etc, is called a NEM,(Non entrée en matière) an other categorie for "an other kind of humans" in the heart of Europe.

distance from my subjects 2

Still realizing trough this dream how really I'm a survivor of a revolution...
the anti revolution or "war on terror" or "war on Marxism" that try to exterminate left wing people from south America in the seventies....
is not fiction.
Is maybe thanks to the "distance of the subject of myself" that I finally I can see it as an objective fact, without drama.

Distance from my subjects

T. had made me a wonderful bed,
it was like a bed of high tech blankets with light and silky blue bubbles going smoothly across a long surface. My son and I went in to bed there.
T. said to me: "I have to take some distance from my subjects",
and made a bed for himself in the floor.
I was treated like the survivor of a revolution, finally receiving a decent shelter.
2.10.08
